                          SUPERSTITION 





    The most of the superstition  have to do with some kind of Luck be it Good or bad. Superstition is build, or provoked  by Fear,based on an assumption of cause and effect. We too see or perform superstition by are own-self,  on daily basis such, as crossing our fingers for good luck or avoiding the path of a black cat.  Accepting transcendental energies and believing in them without thinking and in naivety behavior, is accepting Superstition.
    
     Hence things which are not supported by science are a part of superstition. Superstition is barrier between curiosity and practice. There are many places where you can find and see people broadcasting and promoting superstition and there are people like fake saints, tantrics who have a vital role to play in making superstition more stronger.
    
     It is believed that superstition performed more and mainly in India but its not in India it is performed and taken in concentration worldwild. Superstition is also popular in the country's which are well developed in the field of science and business.

     It is believed  that the people who are illiterate believe more in superstition and the educated people  are more prudent  and logical but it is just a myth. It is more popular between the highly educated people since they have more belief and faith in superstition. there are variety of superstition like if you call a person superstitious he might get offended  but he does few things which will have the hint of superstition like carrying his lucky piece of cloth or wearing his lucky colour or he probably knocks on wood when he mentions some things that he wouldn't want to happen(touch wood). 

   The ignorance, fear of the unknown mystery and religion make the fertile soil of superstition.The rationalist and enlightened people should come forward and challenge these god men. They should be exposed and public opinion be created against such practices. The cultivation of scientific spirit spread of education and rationality can go a long way to check and eradicate superstition.
